Getting Started
The following outlines the steps we follow for getting your website online.
Deposit
During the requirements stage we will want to understand your business needs and what you want to get from your website. We will usually do this via a questionnaire or a face to face meeting.
Once we understand your requirements we will be able to provide you with a quote and if you wish to proceed we will ask you for a deposit of 25%.
Domain Name
If you don't already have one, we will help you decide on a domain name. We can also purchase it for you, the price of which will be included in our design quote.
Design Process
We always build sites from a 'blank canvas' so you can be sure that your design will be unique.
We will ask you to send us your content and any images you wish to include. This may also include logos and your corporate colours, if appropriate. All content should be sent via email or on CD.
If you would like us to source images, or take photographs for you; we can also provide a corporate design service, if you don't already have a company logo or branding. We can do this at an additional cost.
Once we have received your content we will draw up a draft design and give you a link to the site, on our server, for your approval.
When you have reviewed your site we will then work with you to make any changes you require until the final design meets with your approval.
Testing
Once the design of the website is complete, we ask you to fully test all pages and links.
Going Live
When the final design has been agreed and the website fully tested, we will set up hosting for your website and point your domain name to it. The website will only 'go live' once the final payment is received. If you are planning to arrange your own web hosting we will provide the source files, on CD, once we have received the final payment.
